David Bloomer

David Bloomer has spent a lot of time deep in the trenches (quite literally) in Gauteng and Swaziland, capturing intriguing images of ‘illigal’ miners, brutalist Apartheid architectures and long forgotton Asbestos mines.  His captivating landscape and portrait work of these characters and the harsh enviroments they risk their lives in day to day, provide us with a glimpse into this “bi-product’ of the industrial age.
