Ello xray Eyez is a South African artist and designer based in Cape Town. Active in various fringe art movements since 2004, she finds inspiration in the interplay between reality and imagination. Memories, interactions, and personal relevance form the core of her work. She loves to explore various mediums which direct themes of passing time, ritual, and surroundings that often result in character-driven pieces with mysterious narratives. Her compositions blend stylized and surreal elements, inviting viewers to attach their own narratives to the art. Ello welcomes opportunities for art direction, brand design, typography, illustration projects and mural commissions.
