Leah Mascher is interested in the emotional and philosophical implications of art, how art serves as a personal reflection and social tool. In University, she gravitated towards installation and performance art as a way to explore the complexity of human emotion and its relationship with external expression. Her practice has evolved to incorporate non-traditional materials, such as plastic and found objects, as well as digital media. Mascher is drawn to the tension between the sacred and the profane.
