Mia Thom – Listening Drawing II

Description

Cape Town-based interdisciplinary artist Mia Thom works across photography, performance, music, and sound. A Michaelis and Psychology graduate (UCT, both with distinction), her practice explores speculative realism and ethical listening to human and nonhuman voices. She has exhibited internationally, including the Dakar Biennale and Venice’s Palazzo Grassi. Mia’s work invites us to rethink how sound shapes our experience of space and reality.
