Ralph Borland is a Cape Town-based artist, curator, and interdisciplinary knowledge worker whose practice spans sculpture, sound, multimedia, and interventionist art. Educated at UCT and New York University, his work explores themes of activism, social engagement, and global inequality, often through collaborative and cross-disciplinary projects. Notable works include installations at MoMA and public sculptures in Cape Town, and his ongoing project African Robots merges art, design fiction, and community engagement across Southern Africa. Ralph’s work has been exhibited internationally and continues to challenge conventional narratives through critical design and creative activism.
